Browser storage and external services

Technical review: 1 October 2026

Theme preference

The light/dark setting is stored in your browser using localStorage under the key astax-theme. It is read by this site to restore your chosen theme.

HandoffQA workspace

The HandoffQA workspace processes imported test evidence in your browser. Selecting “Save on this browser” stores one full workspace, including transcripts and contact fields, under astax.handoffqa.workspace.v1. Removing the saved workspace deletes that browser copy. Downloaded backups can contain the same information. The workspace has no connected accounts or cloud sync.

Pilot payments

The HandoffQA pilot checkout opens a Stripe-hosted page. Payment information is entered on Stripe’s site, rather than into this workspace. Stripe privacy information.

External resources

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icon styles from cdnjs. Loading those resources causes your browser to make requests to those services.

Call booking

The site loads Calendly’s widget resources. Opening a booking panel on the contact or assessment page embeds Calendly’s scheduling interface. Booking details are handled by Calendly.
