UK: You can raise any concern about how we handle your data with us directly, and you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services:
We do not intentionally collect special-category data through our forms. Please don't send us sensitive personal or health information via our website.

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers ("processors") who help us operate, under contract and appropriate safeguards, such as: Netlify (website hosting), Render (application hosting), Google (email and record-keeping), Retell AI (AI voice assistant, call recording and transcription), Twilio (telephone calls and text messages), Cal.com (appointment scheduling), and, where enabled with your consent, Google Analytics and advertising platforms such as Meta and TikTok. We may disclose data where required by law.
Some providers are outside the UK/EEA (e.g. the USA). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after last contact; call recordings and transcripts for up to 12 months (section 9); client records for as long as needed to provide services and for 6 years afterwards for legal and accounting reasons; and analytics data per the retention set in our tools. Do-not-contact records are kept indefinitely, because that is the only way to guarantee we do not contact you again. We delete or anonymise data when it's no longer needed.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@frescostudio.co.uk; we respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California (or similar-state) resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing". We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, email hello@frescostudio.co.uk. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you are in the UAE, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection, and to withdraw consent, under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. Contact hello@frescostudio.co.uk to exercise them.
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for analytics and advertising. Non-essential cookies load only after you accept them in our banner. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
We only call businesses that have given us permission to do so. We do not make unsolicited marketing calls. If you have asked not to be contacted, we add you to a permanent do-not-contact list and will not call you again.
Some of our calls are handled by an automated AI voice assistant. It identifies itself as an assistant at the start of the call, and if you ask whether you are speaking to a person or to AI, it will tell you plainly. You can ask to speak to a human at any point, and you can end the call at any point.
Calls are recorded and transcribed. We record the audio, generate a written transcript, and keep a short summary of what was discussed. We do this to confirm what was agreed, to follow up accurately, and to improve how our calls are handled. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests; where the call is made on the basis of your permission, our basis for making it is consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We never take payment details over the phone. Please do not read card or bank details to our assistant. Nothing of that kind is ever requested, and if it is offered, it is not recorded or retained.
Who processes call data: Retell AI (the voice assistant, recording and transcription) and Twilio (telephony and text messages), both acting as our processors under contract.
How long we keep it: recordings and transcripts for up to 12 months, then deletion. Call summaries are kept with the rest of the enquiry record (section 6).
Your choices: to object to recording, request a copy or a deletion of a recording, or be added to our do-not-contact list, email hello@frescostudio.co.uk. Do-not-contact requests are actioned immediately and honoured permanently.
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
